KLCC Fantasy League Update - End of July

28 Jul 2019

Well, the rain scuppered all hopes of cricket yesterday.  All three senior games were abandoned so with no reports or updates to give, let's focus on the KLCC Fantasy League.

It is all change at the top of the standings as Tom Clark's team has stormed up the table in July.  He is the winner of the monthly of cash prize of £6.50 and will be hopeful of being in contention for the overall winning prize of £52 at the end of the season.

Tom's team has scored 1261 points in July, with Sifan Naeem (1239) and Andrew Colquhoun (1211) the other teams to surpass 1200 points.

Overall, Tom's team has scored 3446 and he has leapfrogged previous monthly winners Jack Stokes (3397) and Christian James (3350) who are 2nd and 3rd respectively.

In terms of player performances, Jay Williams (470 points) and Ben Joyce (461 points) continue to battle it out to be "Most Valuable Player" and alongside Harry Sambrook they have also been the weekly MVP on two occasions.  Harry has been closing the gap in recent weeks and Sifan Naeem currently holds the record for highest weekly total with 135 points on 6th July.

A full breakdown of team performances and the details of the top player performances are attached.

And a reminder to Senior players to update their availability for next Saturday (3rd August) - and having missed out this weekend it may be a useful reminder that Senior Nets are on Tuesday night from 7pm.

Have a good Sunday and we look forward to seeing you up at the club some time soon.
