We are delighted to announce that the Executive Committee have been able to give the green light to our Net Refurbishment Project.
This exciting news means that if all goes to plan, both net bays will be fully refurbished and ready for use BEFORE the start of the forthcoming season!
It is a big project that will cost the club approximately TWENTY THOUSAND POUNDS but we are confident that it will be a really positive step on continuing to develop the next generation of junior talent and to improve our senior performances.
To support us in completing this project and maintaining the financial security of the club, we would like to ask you to consider helping us in any of the following ways you feel able to:
- PAY YOUR MEMBERSHIP EARLY - You can pay online via the website (a guide to how to log on is attached) or straight into our bank account by BACS (details also attached)
- ATTEND OUR SOCIAL AND FUNDRAISING EVENTS - We have 3 quizzes in the diary starting on 21st Feb, plans for events to launch the season in style and a desire to host more regular events throughout the year.
- DONATE RAFFLE PRIZES - We would welcome donations of raffle prizes to help us raise funds at our events. If you have some spare bottles or chocolates hanging around, or would be able to source any vouchers, discounts or products from local businesses or otherwise, please do share. You can email rjdavis024@gmail.com or bring to the club on 21st Feb or at a later date.
- FORMAL SPONSORSHIP - We already benefit from the generosity and kindness of a number of sponsors. We will soon be sharing details of additional ways and packages of sponsoring different aspects of the club.
- MAKE A DONATION - We have already received some generous donations and you are, of course, welcome to make a direct donation should you wish. This could be done via BACS with reference "Net Fund" or via a cheque made payable to Kings Langley Cricket Club.
- HELP SPREAD THE WORD - Please like and share our KLCC Facebook Page updates and encourage people to come and join us as social or playing members!
We will continue to keep you updated on progress with our preparations for the season and the developments of the Net Refurbishment Project.
