We hope you are staying safe and keeping well.
We have received updates from the ECB and Herts League in the last couple of days.
We can confirm:
- There will be no professional cricket before at least July 1st
- There will be no Senior Herts League Cricket before at least Saturday 11th July
We have attached the document we have received from Saracens Herts League, if it is of interest to you.
We will be meeting as a committee in the next few days (virtually, of course) to talk this through and complete the surveys referenced in the document.
Our intentions remain to run whatever we safely can in terms of Junior and Senior cricket, if and when government and ECB guidelines allow. Clearly, at the moment, that means nothing can take place.
If you feel strongly that you would like to share any thoughts or feedback, please feel free to reply to this email or talk to anyone on the committee you are generally in contact with.
In terms of helping us to think through our plans and responses, we would ask as many Senior Players as possible to complete this survey: KLCC - Intention to Play 2020
We appreciate that your answers will likely be influenced by the exact circumstances and safety requirements in July or August but it is helpful to get a feel for the situation - no-one will be held to their response!
A couple of reminders of other things:
- Our next KLCC Virtual Pub Quiz takes place this Friday at 8pm on Facebook Live via the Kings Langley Cricket Club Facebook Page
- Thanks to the 100 Club members who completed the survey sent on Friday night - the link is here if you are still to respond: KLCC 100 Club Membership Details
Have a good day - and, as ever, if we can do anything to support - please just ask.
Rich (on behalf of the Executive Committee)
