Yes, I really did get *this* bored!
Saturday should have marked the start of the Herts League season. Obviously we couldn't take to the field, but using the magic of my imagination powers of a carefully programmed simulation computer algorithm, we have been able to generate what would have happened!
The good news - THREE GLORIOUS WINS! A century for Mark Brazier, 70's for Sifan Naeem and Russ Knights and 3-wicket hauls for Ben Joyce, Duane Smith, Rich Davis and Ellis Lee-Knights!
All the details are attached - if you have a bit of time to fill - we hope it brings a little light relief!
However, we would like YOU to get involved!
You are invited to take charge of a future fixture, providing the scorecard and/or report for a forthcoming game.
You could make the following happen:
- Give yourself a starring role in a KLCC win
- Enjoy a career best personal performance
- Make a surprising comeback from retirement
- Give a senior debut to dream of to your 'junior' playing son/daughter
- Bring back KLCC legends from the past
- Pit our current players against the world's best
I will happily help to check and tidy up reports, and do all the work needed to make it 'pretty' for Facebook and to send round in a collective email.
If you would like to take up the challenge for a future 1st/2nd/3rd XI fixture, just reply to this email, or email rjdavis024@gmail.com and I will set you up with a fixture and help you out as needed.
I will be back in touch soon with news of the next Virtual Pub Quiz on Friday 15th May and a first Cricket Skills Video Challenge - to keep your skills honed and competitive instincts high.
Have a good week - and please do take care and stay safe,
Rich
