We have another busy weekend ahead at the club... if the weather doesn't conspire against us!
Although looking a little doubtful given the rain, we have an Under 9s fixture tonight on The Common and Junior Training and All Stars takes place on Saturday morning too.
For the second consecutive week, we have successfully put together a full quota of 33 players for our Senior Fixtures.
In Division One, the 1st XI travel to Hitchin. In Division Six B, the 2nd XI host Boxmoor on The Common and the 3rd team are also at home against Langleybury IV.
The matches all start at 1pm. The bar will open from 5pm and Happy Overs will run from 5.30 until 30 minutes after the end of the cricket.
If you are keen to keep track of England's latest World Cup game, then I'm sure the TV will be on throughout Saturday afternoon too.
We will be back in contact with an update of the results on Sunday/Monday.
Will we bring news of the first century of the season? Will one of the 14 players to have got a 'duck' so far this season commit to winning the trophy by claiming a second? Will the second team claim their first win since 2017? Will the 3rd team claim enough league points to send their total above 0?
So many questions!
For our Facebook fans, I can confirm that Liberty Maher is the only player to have scored Fantasy Points in all 4 league games so far. And 13, yes 13 players, have scored more runs already in June than they did in the whole of May!
I hope you have a great weekend, and we hope to see you on The Common at some point very soon.
Best wishes
Rich
