It's another busy weekend ahead at KLCC.
A reminder that we have our big Race Night that is being organised and run by the Junior Section of the club. This family-friendly event is in aid of the Net Refurbishment Fund and promises to be a night of fun.
The first race will start at 7.30pm and compere-supreme Darren Spacey will be on hand to help everyone know what is going on.
Entry is £5 for adults and £2.50 for children. Food is also available. Thank you to all the volunteers who have given their time, energy and enthusiasm to organising the night.
If you are interested in sponsoring a race (£25) or a horse (£10), please contact Tom Templeton using the details in the attached flier!
As well as being a fun night and a brilliant first event in our fundraising campaign, it should also prove to be a great opportunity to celebrate a 90-point haul on the field!
We are delighted to announce that we currently have all three full teams for Saturday and after last week's run fest we are feeling good about the second half of the season.
So, as we ordered in the first week of the season, all players are now banned from extreme sports, operating heavy machinery and safari parks until further notice!
As ever, Happy Overs will start from 5.30pm and I am sure the 1st team will appreciate your support if you feel like popping down in the afternoon as they host Ickleford.
The 2nd team are on the road to Old Elizabethans II (not Old Albanian as was published accidently published at one point today) and the 3rd team travel to face West Herts V.
Good luck to players, tipsters, England fans everywhere... if you're a New Zealand fan who likes a quiet night in and is morally opposed to gambling this is not the weekend for you at KLCC!
We look forward to seeing you at the club at some point soon,
Rich
