Just a quick email to remind you of an important event coming up this Sunday (21st July).
It is our annual President's vs Chairman's Match - and this year we are celebrating and paying tribute to the contributions to KLCC of our late friend and club hero, Roy Barter.
The attached photo gives further details, but the day includes a Junior game in the morning and a 20/20 match featuring KLCC legends past and present from 1pm.
The bar will open from 12 noon, there will a couple of ceremonial activities before the match starts at 1pm and tea will be available for guests at the conclusion of the match.
We look forward to seeing a big turn-out on Sunday - and please do pass this message on to any friends or family who may have lost touch with the club but would like to attend... all are very welcome.
I will be back in touch in the next couple of days with the roundup of the weekend's action and an update on the fundraising exploits from the Junior Section Race Night on Saturday.
Senior nets are on Tuesday night and players are encouraged to update their availability asap.
