Match report Kings Langley 2nd XI had a difficult day at the office as they fell to a 10 wicket defeat against visiting Potters Bar III.
Having won the toss and elected to bat, Kings Langley weren't able to offer much resistance to the visitors' bowling attack as they fell to 75 all out in 20.1 overs. The highlight of the innings was young Joe Forster compiling an impressive innings of 37 whilst wickets fell around him.
In reply, Potters Bar made short work of their target as the openers knocked off the required runs in just 11 overs.
It was always going to be a challenging day for the team with a number of regular 3rd team players stepping up to Division Six B. Availability is looking better for next week, so hopefully we will be bringing news of results of three teams again next weekend!
