Kings Langley batted first and compiled a total of 98 all out in 34.5 overs. The innings was built around an unbeaten 47 from Tom Templeton with Kevin McDermott the second highest scorer with 11.
In reply, Berkhamsted knocked off the total without loss in just 11 overs.
A big thank you must go to the Berkhamsted players for playing such a sporting match. We were on the verge of conceding the match on Thursday night as at that point we only had 10 players and a shortage of bowling options but they played in good spirit to ensure the game went ahead, even playing on for a few extra overs after the result was secured to get more people involved in the match.
