Match report The 3rd XI fell to a defeat in a friendly match against scheduled league opponents, Markyate and Luton Town.

Markyate and Luton Town won the toss and took the opportunity to bat first and soon piled on the runs, posting a total of 262-7 in their 40 overs, with two batsmen also taking the opportunity to retire having reached unbeaten half centuries. Danny Knights (2-19) and Ellis Lee-Knights (2-48) were the main wickets takers, with Hadi Rizvi, Russ Knights and Sam Wheeler also striking.
