The end of the season may be nigh but we are fully focused on finishing the 2019 season on a high.
With two matches to go, the 1st team have a crucial match against bottom-of-the-table Knebworth Park. They know that victory will go a long way to securing survival in Division One.
The 2nd XI have their final home game of the week and they host Cheshunt Rosedale II. Can they claim a 2nd victory of the season? For some players it would still be their first win since 2017!
Whilst the 3rd XI have finished their league campaign, a strong week for availability has enabled us to organise an extra friendly. They will host West Herts V with a squad of 13 taking to the field to enjoy some cricket.
The bar will be staffed from 5.30pm and the players will do their best to serve drinks before that time when they aren't fielding. We will also have Burnley vs Liverpool on TV from 5.30pm.
I will be back with details of the scores on Sunday/Monday and there is also news coming out shortly about the End Of Season Dinner and Awards Night on Friday 11th October.
