I hope you are well and are as excited as we are to hear that cricket is back!
This email, to all members, is to confirm that following on from two committee meetings this week, we are confident that we can implement the extensive COVID-guidelines on and off the field, and will be hosting an inter-club friendly on Saturday afternoon.
A separate email will be sent to players this evening to confirm teams - and to remind of key parts of the arrangements.
For those interested in spectating, we are starting at 1.30pm. The bar will be open from 3pm.
Please be aware of the following things implemented for your safety and the safety of all members and visitors:
- There is a 1-way system inside the club house for the bar and for the toilets
- Only 1 person is allowed behind the bar at any one time (for info for those who often like to help)
- Only 1 person is allowed in to be served at the bar at any one time
- Only 1 person per set of toilets at any one time
- We will need to collect contact details for all people who enter the building to use our facilities (this will hopefully be a matter of confirming details for members)
- Card payments only at the bar (at least for now)
- Please maintain social distancing with people outside of your household/bubble whilst using our facilities, inside or out.
Please be patient with us whilst we get used to these changes - and follow them carefully to respect those who are working and volunteering to allow this all to happen.
We look forward to welcoming those who are signed up for the junior sessions in the morning, the players and officials involved in the afternoon - and whether it is tomorrow or in the near future, we look forward to seeing you back up on The Common some time soon.
