The 1st XI fell short in the chase on Saturday as they slid to a 110 run defeat against Holtswhite & Trinibis.  A solid effort with the ball had kept the hosts in check, with Burnell, Gajasinghe and Clark all picking up two wickets as they compiled 215-7 from their 50 overs.  However, in reply, no one could make the telling contribution to close their opponents down, Burnell top scoring with 22.
